ACCOMMODATION

We are located in Bundeena, in the Royal National Park, South Sydney. Our accommodation is a separate, private building on our property, this suiting an individual or a couple. It includes a queen bed, en-suite, lounge room, small kitchenette (no indoor cooking facilities available), outdoor BBQ and all your linen needs.

If you have a bigger group, and want to stay in Bundeena, let us know. There are other accommodation options available and we are happy to direct you to those.

Birding from the accommodation’s veranda as you sip your morning coffee, afternoon wine or any drink of your choice is definitely a great way to get a handle on the local birds.

Our accommodation is $250/night (weekdays – Monday to Thursday) or $425/night (weekends – Friday to Saturday).

Catering, or self-catered options, are available.

The township of Bundeena supports a petrol station (which provides basic goods and pre-cooked Indian meals that can be reheated), a supermarket (IGA), two Clubs that serve evening meals, takeaway shops (fish and chips, burgers and Vietnamese meals) and coffee shops that provide breakfast and lunch options. The accommodation we provide includes a fully stocked, small kitchenet (no inside cooking), fridge, microwave and outdoor BBQ so cooking your own meals is definitely an option.

If you want to relax, and let us cater for you, we can provide a continental breakfast and vegetarian or meat evening meal (meal generally along the lines of pasta or BBQ and salad with ice cream or fresh fruit desert). If you’d like us to cater for you, we charge $150/person/night. If this option is attractive to you, please let us know and email us your dietary requirement.

Unless other guest are coming in, we don’t believe in ‘kicking you’ out by 10.00 am. We’d prefer you stay around, enjoy Bundeena and the Royal, and leave whenever you want.

From our accommodation to the centre of town (don’t blink of you’ll miss it!!!) is about a ten minute walk. Near us are a large number of iconic walks. During the whale migration (May to July), Humpback and Southern Right Wales can be seen from ‘the Coast Track’.

Talk to us is you are interested in doing a kayak tour (guided or self-guided) on the beautiful Hacking River. If you have the time, the interest, can swim and a medium degree of fitness, this is a must do activity and gives you a fantastic opportunity to see some amazing parts of the Royal from a different, water based, perspective.
